Here you have shelter.
Hospitality is a form of grace, no?
In the last two weeks, I have welcomed more people in my apartment than I historically have in the last five years of living in Chinatown. I'm stretching myself. I'm intentionally extending my comfort zone. I'm learning patience, grace for myself, grace for others, and the enjoyment of others in a private space.
I'm learning to let others into my safe spaces with no presumption or fear that they will hurt me. I'm learning to give a little bit better. I'm learning to love a little bit more.
Interesting people always welcome. This is the good life.
